Revell has created two special limited edition Corvette convertibles (See photo above). Both 1/25th scale plastic promotional models are molded in black and each is expected to be a highly desirable model car for your promo collection.
The first Vette is a black 2001 convertible that features a black interior with red seats. In fact, the interior is the same sharp color combination found in the white 2001 Corvette convertible promo. Revell produced a mere 2,000 units in black, and we've been told that half of this production run already is sold out. Each black 2001 Corvette convertible is $40 plus shipping.
The second promo release is an even smaller production run, just 500 units. It's a special black 2000 model year Corvette convertible. That's right, just 500 units have been produced in black and each car has "2000" molded on the license plate. The interior color matches the 2001 convertible. Each black 2000 Corvette convertible is $45 plus shipping.
Both limited edition Corvette promotional models are packaged in the same type of box Revell uses for its regular promotional models. SALE PRICE: black 2000 Corvette convertibles, $19. (SORRY: 2001 black convertile is sold out.)
